How it all began

Joseph and Ashlee met on Dec 4th, 2010 while he was at home on leave from Iraq and she was interning at a boutique PR Firm in Los Angeles. The couple dated long distance for two years, deepening their connection by penning love letters and swapping life stories on the Tumblr page Ashlee made for them.
They reconnected at the top of 2016 which ultimately led to Joseph booking a flight to visit Ashlee for Valentine’s Day. The distant lovers quickly picked up where they left off as if no time had passed.
Five months later, Joseph packed up his life on the West Coast and moved to NYC to give their relationship a real opportunity to flourish. No more long distance. No more trading stories on blog posts. Just two people ready and willing to explore and strengthen the bond they created all those years ago.
And the rest is history
Over the last seven years, Joseph and Ashlee have grown together, traveled the world together, experienced love and loss together. And on February 11, 2024, they will commit themselves to one another in front of God and their loved ones…together.
